Welcome to my world of mushrooms, a journey that began when I was just a teenager. I started as a picker and cleaner, learning the art from the ground up at mushroom farm Wout de Muk. For over 40 years, I've worked with mushrooms, gaining extensive experience that I offer in my consultancy. I pride myself on my strong points: my extensive experience, spanning from the task of picking, and growing,  to the art of compost creation, my ability to express myself in various languages, my honest and independent approach, and my teaching skills.

Harvest Training: Through the years, I've developed my skills in harvest training. I've guided countless harvest teams, regardless of experience level, in leveraging the newest technologies to maximize their yields. I believe that understanding the delicate art of harvesting is key to success in the mushroom industry.

Newest Technology: I have kept pace with the advancements in growing harvest and composting systems. My ability to manage these modern tools has resulted in increased efficiency and consistent quality across various projects. By employing the newest technology, I ensure that the mushroom cultivation process is optimized to meet the demands of today's market. From automating climate control to monitoring growth patterns, the integration of technology is at the core of my consulting services.

Start-up Projects: My passion for mushrooms has led me to work on diverse start-up projects across the globe. I've helped new farms flourish, adapting to unique challenges, materials, and climates. Each new venture adds to my understanding of what makes a successful mushroom operation.

Presentations, Workshops, and Conferences: My experience isn't confined to the farm. I've been a speaker and trainer at numerous presentations, workshops, and conferences. I take great pride in enlightening others about the fascinating world of mushrooms, sharing both the technical details and the joy of cultivation.

Language Skills: One of the unique facets of my career is my ability to communicate across cultures. Speaking fluent Dutch, Spanish, and English has not only allowed me to work with a diverse range of clients but has also enriched my understanding of different growing techniques and traditions. These language skills have been instrumental in my global reach, breaking down barriers and fostering collaboration.

Global Reach: My work has taken me all over the world. Whether consulting in China or initiating new projects in United Arab Emirates or Malta, my global perspective shapes how I approach every new opportunity.
